I spend a lot of time developing my early prototypes. In some cases, I think I spend way too much time on this part and it slows my development cycles down. I have seen early prototypes out there that just use index cards and some components from other games. For me, I struggle with this because I want to see how the components would look in its full glory. I need to work on accepting just good enough to play!
